TerraTrellis featured in Garden Design Magazine: great ideas for edible gardens!

Garden Design Magazine cover TerraTrellis

There is a must-read article in the May issue of Garden Design Magazine for anyone interested in successfully growing edibles: Up in the Air: Arbors, Trellises and the Edible Garden.  The story, which features TerraTrellis, explores how trellises, arbors and garden tuteurs are essential in creating beautiful, plentiful edible gardens - especially those with sprawling, twining or climbing plants that do well going vertical.

Butterflies and Birds love TerraTrellis!

We adore getting photos from our clients!  These inspiring photos come to us from Leslie Ford of Los Angeles who has become a TerraTrellis collector.  Leslie integrated several trellises around her property as focal points in her butterfly and hummingbird gardens last year.  Pictured are Akoris Garden Tuteur (in berry above and kumquat below) and the Gracie Modern Arbor.  To attract hummingbirds and soon-to-be butterflies she planted Passion Flower, Milkweed, Leonotis, varieties of Nasturtium and purple Lantana.  Leslie now reports hundreds of chrysalises around her property!

Gracie Modern Arbors featured in the classic gardens of the Greystone Mansion

Grace Design Associates, the award-winning Santa Barbara landscape design firm, has integrated 14 Gracie Modern Arbors into the public gardens of the iconic Beverly Hills Greystone Mansion.  The arbors transform pathways into magical allées that run alongside a classic 60 ft. reflecting pool at the legendary mansion which is also National Historic Landmark.  The 14 aubergine Gracie arbors are underplanted with soft blues, silvers and greens and vines are woven throughout.
